CONTINUING EDUCATION
MEETING PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
- Review basic knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
- Conduct sessions on the current state of the art and standards of practice.
- Provide a peer interchange forum for exchanging information and concepts.
MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION (MOC) as defined by ABR:
Many ACMP members now require Maintenance of Certification (MOC) as defined by the American Board of Radiology. ACMP is offering Self-Assessment Modules (SAMs) which allow for interactive learning and self-assessment of knowledge gained during designated sessions, to be submitted for ABR approval.
Completion of two Self Assessment Modules (SAMs) per year is a requirement for the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) process as defined by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
To assist attendees who require MOC with fulfilling their SAMs requirements, ACMP program organizers have identified sessions in Diagnostic and Therapy Physics as SAM activities.
- Attendees will check out an audience response unit at the Registration Counter at the annual meeting. A $75 credit card deposit is required. The credit card will not charged unless the unit is not returned.
- Questions will be asked during the SAMs sessions and participants must answer electronically. There is no pass/fail. The idea is to assess knowledge gained during the session.
- SAM credit for these sessions are available only to attendees who check out an audience response unit on site and complete the required online evaluation of the session.
Please note that the SAMs sessions are open to everyone.
ONLINE EVALUATION SYSTEM: (Available May 3 - May 30)
- To obtain credit, attendees must complete an on-line evaluation survey.
- The survey will be available online Saturday, May 3 thru Friday, May 30.
- Attendees must complete the survey by May 30 in order to receive CAMPEP credit.
- After the meeting, registrants will be contacted with instructions for viewing the meeting transcript via the CAMPEP website. The transcript will list a description of the sessions and the number of continuing education credits obtained.
- Please note your badge I.D. will be required in order to complete the CEC evaluation survey.
The survey is now closed.
